Pat Potter's Chocolate Wet Cake
I have no idea of the origin of this recipe nor do I have any knowledge
of Pat Potter. I got the recipe from a friend when I was in the seventh
grade. I am not exactly sure where she got the recipe. It may have been
from a cousin who got it from a great aunt who got it from a second
cousin once removed who got it from...well, you get the picture. At any
rate, it is the best chocolate cake I have ever tasted from that time to
this. Enjoy!

1. Combine 2 cups flour and 2 cups sugar.
2. In a saucepan, put 1-1/2 cups margarine,
4 tablespoons cocoa, and 1 cup water.
Bring this to a boil.
Combine with the flour and sugar mix.
3. Add 1/2 cup sour milk, 1 teaspoon baking soda,
1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 2 eggs.
Mix well. Pour into a 9" by 13" pan.
Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until done.
4. Frost as desired.
