Darned If I Know Cake 1 (10 or 12 oz.) can crushed pineapple 1 (16 or 20 oz.) can cherry pie filling 1 box yellow cake mix 1 c. shredded coconut 1 c. chopped nuts 3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter
In ungreased 13 x 9-inch baking pan, mix crushed pineapple and pie filling. Sprinkle cake mix on top. Top with coconut and then nuts. Thinly slice butter and place over mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Check at 40 minutes. If quite brown, remove from oven. Note: Any combination of pie filling and cake mix can be used. Apple pie filling and spice cake or blueberry and yellow cake.
