Billy Goats Categories: Cookies
1/2 c Butter 1 1/2 c Brown sugar 3 Eggs 1 ts Vanilla extract 2 c Flour 1 ds Salt 1/2 ts Baking soda 1 c Dates; chop 1/2 c Walnuts; chop Cream butter and sugar until light. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, and vanilla extract. Sift together flour, salt and baking soda and add to butter mixture. Stir in dates and walnuts. Drop rounded ts of batter onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 until light brown on top, about 10 minutes.
