PERFECT POTATOES IN THE CROCK POT
 1/4 pound bacon diced
> 2 medium white onions thinly sliced
> 4 potatoes thinly sliced
> 1/2 pound sharp cheddar cheese sliced thinly
> 1 teaspoon salt
> 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
> 12 pats butter
> Line crock-pot with aluminum foil leaving enough to overlap potatoes
> when finished.  Layer half each of the bacon, onions, potatoes and
> cheese in crock pot then season with salt and pepper and dot with
> half of the butter.  Repeat layers of bacon, onions, potatoes and
> cheese and dot with remaining butter.  Overlap with remaining foil
> then cover and cook on low for 10 hours.
