Banana Filling
The following recipe was transcribed ver batim fromĀ 
The Daily Picayune
New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana
January 11, 1913
Four bananas, two tablespoons sugar, few grains salt.
Put the banana pulp through the potato ricer, and scald with sugar and
salt. Cool, add lemon juice, and use as a cake or sandwich filling.
