Hi,

I saw this in the daily mirror, a newspaper we get over here, and thought
people would be interested in it.

Hello again Dolly
By Gavin Martin

DOLLY Parton ascends the stage through a trap door. A pint-sized parcel of
giggling, glittery fun in a mini-dress, wig and cheap jewellery.

At 61, she is a tribute to the best bodywork Hollywood money can buy. But the
talent and energy is all her own.

A packed Wembley Arena laps up the jokes about her famous assets. "They've even
got a mike going here, between the girls," she confides as she fiddles with
her buttons. "Talk about the Grand Canyon."

But the real magic shines as she performs down-home standards Jolene, The Grass
is Blue and Coat of Many Colours in that impossibly high clear voice.

A cheesy duet with an Elvis impersonator and a holier-than-thou Gospel finale
are less impressive.

But her classic renditions of Turn, Turn, Turn, 9 to 5 and and I Will Always
Love You remind everyone what a unique, irrepressible talent this really is.

Another resounding victory for the backwoods Barbie.
