He will have to have his right kidney surgically removed, as it is not functioning. They took half of a malignant tumor off the right kidney that was pushing on his bladder. I don't know why they didn't remove the entire kidney. He'll come home today with a catheter and then will have to see if his left kidney can function on its own. However, he also has cysts on the left kidney but this surgeon didn't say much about those. I'm not sure how much I like this surgeon. Thank all of you for all the prayers. I'll keep you posted if you want me to. Thanks for being my friends.
