Cheesy Bacon Bites
   
  1 tube crescent rolls
  1/2 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese softened
  1/4 C. bacon bits
  1/4 t. minced onion (optional)
  3-4 dashes
   
  Combine cream cheese, bacon and seasonings; set aside.  Unroll crescent roll 
dough into 4 rectangles on cookie sheet (ungreased).  Preheat oven to 375.  
Spread 1/4 of the cream cheese mixture evenly over each of the 4 rectangles of 
dough.  Roll, jelly roll style so you have 4 long sides (roll the dough from 
the long sides).  
   
  Cut each into approximately 1/2" wide slices, using a very sharp knife.  
Place pinwheels onto cookie sheet; bake as directed on crescent roll dough tube 
or until brown.
