Kentucky Chocolate Chip Pie

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup melted butter
4 large eggs
2 tablespoons bourbon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell

PREPARATION:
Combine first 6 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; beat at medium
speed of an electric mixer until blended. Stir in pecans and chocolate
chips. Pour into pie pastry shell. Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes
or until center is almost set (will still be somewhat jiggly).
