I would guess it does; I mean, I have a little three dollar foldup saw that I have had for years and cut vines and saplings, small tree limbs, and will go out next time and get some baby oil, rub some on paper towels, and then clean the blade with it; also, if you put some baby oil into your bath water, it helps not to make the ring around the tub!
