Toast and coffee with oatmeal; either a bowl of cold cereal or some bacon
and eggs; some kind of sandwich with soup or salad; Fruit for an afternoon
snack; full course dinner, small amounts of meat and vegetables; a good
dessert later in the evening. I'll keep thinking of different combinations.
Lots of fluids will work and I know he's glad he can drink a beer a day.
I'll talk to you later.

Hi Kay,

The worst is over in my opinion. I think he'll be going to the Arthur James
Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio for any chemotherapy. He is doing well,
though. He was glad to get a real cup of coffee he said and some real food.

When you got off the elevator at the hospital, you could smell that
artificial gravy stuff. I wonder what makes it smell so bad? You can only
fix chicken so many ways. I think in the U.S. now, most of the hospital
foods are prepared and then sent to the hospitals. They don't even cook on
site anymore.

Thanks, Kay, for your support. I'm so thankful for my friends.

Frank is to have six small meals a day. Do you have any ideas?
