I went to Hutchinson this morning and went with a Mennonite family about 5
miles on the highway. They were not in a car. They drove a stagecoach
complete with horses. The man was dress in black including hat and was perched
about halfway up the front of the cab. Three steps went up to where a door was
then opened and long benches were where the family sat facing each other.
Their was a troth in back for food for the horses. It was really interesting
how the automobile and the wagons were on the same highway. The women and
children were all dressed in black and also wore black hats.
