Bob Dylan, Lucinda Williams Set for Austin Festival Wed. May 16.2007 6:17 PM EDT
Bob Dylan, Robert Earl Keene, Lucinda Williams and Steve Earle are among the artists appearing at the Austin City Limits Music Festival set for Sept. 14-16 in Austin, Texas. Other country and bluegrass-oriented acts performing include Billy Joe Shaver, the Del McCoury Band, Asleep at the Wheel, Cross Canadian Ragweed and Jeffrey Steele. The festival at Zilker Park also features the White Stripes, Björk, My Morning Jacket, Queens of the Stone Age, Crowded House, Arctic Monkeys and dozens of other acts. May 16.2007 6:17 PM EDT Porter Wagoner and Brenda Lee are scheduled to make appearances at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in downtown Nashville during the week of the upcoming CMA Music Festival. With events scheduled June 5-10, the museum will be hosting autograph sessions with the two Hall of Fame members, along with a series of interviews and performances by some of the artists. Other participants include Mel Tillis and daughter Pam Tillis, Rick Trevino, Chely Wright, T. Graham Brown, John Carter Cash and Elizabeth Cook. Sunday Mornin' Country Show Scheduled Wed. May 16.2007 6:17 PM EDT Nashville Star winner Chris Young will join Grand Ole Opry members Connie Smith and Jean Shepard at the 28th annual Sunday Mornin' Country concert set for June 10 at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. Smith will host the inspirational show that's also scheduled to feature Linda Davis, Hank Locklin, Hee Haw star Lu Lu Roman, impressionist Johnny Counterfit, Margo Smith, Keni Thomas, the Fox Brothers and others. The show takes place on the final day of the 2007 CMA Music Festival.
