CHOCOLATE CANDY CAKE
  
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 c. water
1 c. butter
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 buttermilk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
Chocolate Candy frosting (below)

Combine water, butter and cocoa in sauce pan, bring to boil, stirring 
constantly. Gradually pour over flour, sugar and soda that have been mixed 
together.
Stir in buttermilk, eggs and vanilla. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 12 x 2 
inch pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. While warm, prick cake with meat
fork. Spread with Chocolate Candy frosting.

CHOCOLATE CANDY FROSTING:

1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. evaporated milk
1/4 c. cocoa
1 lb. powdered sugar, sifted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Combine butter, milk and cocoa in sauce pan. Bring to boil, stirring 
constantly. Remove from heat; stir in powdered sugar. Add vanilla and nuts; 
stir until
spreading consistency. Pour over warm cake.
