Italian-Style Cheeseburgers 
INGREDIENTS 
1-1/3 lbs. ground beef
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup marinara or pizza sauce
1 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil 
8 slices Sargento(r) Limited Edition Sliced Aged Provolone Cheese 4
Kaiser rolls or hamburger rolls, split, lightly toasted Pickled
vegetables (giardiniera) or pepperoncini peppers, optional 
DIRECTIONS 
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 12 minutes 
Serves: 4 
Prepare barbecue grill for medium-high heat or preheat broiler. Combine
meat, garlic, salt and pepper. Shape into 4 patties about 1/2-inch thick
and 4 inches in diameter. Grill covered or broil 4 inches from heat
source 5 to 6 minutes per side or until internal temperature of meat
reaches 160°F. 
Combine marinara sauce and basil. Spoon over patties; top with cheese.
Continue grilling or broiling 1 minute or until cheese is melted. Serve
in rolls with pickled vegetables if desired.
