Banana Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup shortening
1 egg
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 3/4 cup oats
1 cup mashed bananas (3 medium)
1/2 cup raisins
Method
Cream together sugar, shortening and egg. Add all other
ingredients and mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoonfulls onto
ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes
or until light brown. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
