MEXICAN ANISE COOKIES
Ingredients
1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp anise seed
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Method
With mixer beat butter,sugar and vanilla until smooth.Beat in flour and
anise seeds. Refrigerate for half an hour and then roll out shapes and
cut.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees F.
Roll in cinnamon and sugar after baking.
