GLAZED LEMON LOAF
  
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well after each. Add: 
1 tsp. baking powder 1 grated rind of 1 lemon

Mix alternately with 1/2 cup milk. Pour into a loaf pan and bake 1 hour at 350 
degrees. Remove from oven and pour on a glaze made from the juice of 1 lemon
and 1/4 cup sugar. Remove from pan when cool and slice.  Enjoy.
