I also found this Jell-O recipe that my dear Mother used to make us all
the time. Yummy. 
7 up Jell-O 
Mix together in a large bowl; and refrig until firm. 2 sm boxes lemon
Jell-O 
2 cups hot water
2 cups 7-up 
1 large can crushed pineapple-drained (save the juice for the topping) 2
large bananas, sliced 
1 cup small marshmallows 
For the Topping: Cook in sauce pan:
1/2 cup sugar
2 TBL flour
2 TBL butter, softened
1 cup pineapple juice
1 egg, slightly beaten
4-1/2 oz cool whip 
Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Cool. Fold in the cool whip.
Spread mixture on top of Jell-O and refrigerator. until cooled.
