Fruity Sugar Cookies
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 3-oz. pkg. flavored gelatin
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
Cream shortening, sugar and gelatin in bowl until light and fluffy.
Add eggs; mix well. Add sifted dry ingredients; mix well. Roll to
1/4-inch thick on floured surface. Cut with 3-inch cookie cutter.
Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at dg375 for 6 minutes or until
light brown. Cool on wire rack.
Yield 3 dozen.
