Individual Tuna Pies

1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons instant chicken bouillon granules
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 3/4 cups milk
1 1/2 cups water
2 6 1/2-ounce cans tuna, drained and flaked, or one 16-ounce can salmon,
drained, bones and skin removed, and flaked
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables, cooked and drained
3 tablespoons snipped parsley
1 package (6) refrigerated biscuits

Oven 400 degrees

Cook onion in butter till tender but not brown.  Stir in flour, bouillon
granules, salt, thyme, and pepper.  Add milk and water.  Cook and stir till
thickened and bubbly.  Stir in fish, cooked vegetables, and the parsley;
heat till bubbly.  Immediately pour mixture into 6 individual casseroles.
Quarter biscuits; quickly place 4 pieces atop hot filling in each casserole.
(Or, pour mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole.  Halve biscuits; place
pieces atop hot filling.)  Bake in a 400 degrees oven about 10 to 12 minutes
or till biscuits are lightly browned.  Makes 6 servings.
