Grandmothers's Oatmeal Cookies

The smell of these warm, gooey cookies coming fresh out of the oven takes you 
right back to your grandmother's kitchen.

2 eggs, beaten

1 tsp salt

1 c raisins

1 tsp vanilla

1 1/2 c flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 c butter

1 tsp cinnamon

1 c brown sugar

3  oatmeal

1 c granulated sugar

1/2 c chopped walnuts, optional

Combine eggs, raisins & vanilla. Let stand 1 hr. Thoroughly cream butter, brown 
sugar, granulated sugar & salt. Sift flour, baking soda & cinnamon into

creamed mixture. Blend in eggs, raisins & vanilla mixture with oatmeal. Dough 
will be stiff. Spoon onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F 10-12 min or until

light brown.

Per (1 cookie) Serving: 120 cal, 45 cal from fat, 5g fat, 2.5g sat fat, 0g 
trans fat, 20mg chol, 105mg sod, 17g total carb, 1g fiber, 8g sugars, 2g 
protein,

2% vitamin A, 2% calcium, 4% iron
