SPECIAL OCCASION CHICKEN SALAD

5-7 boneless chicken breasts, cooked and cooled
3 c. pasta shells, cooked and cooled
1 small pkg. pea pods or sugar snap peas, cooked al dente, then cooled
2-3 stalks celery (to taste)
1-1/2-2 c. seedless grapes (red or green)
1 bunch small green onions
1 can sliced water chestnuts, drain well
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. sour cream
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. nuts (almonds or pecans)

Dice chicken. In large mixing bowl, combine chicken, pasta, pea pods, celery, 
grapes, water chestnuts and green onions. In small mixing bowl, combine 
mayonnaise,
sour cream and mustard. The mustard adds the "zing" to this salad so adjust 
according to personal preference. Salt and pepper to taste. Chill. Add nuts
just before serving. Serves 6. Wonderful served with baked beans, crusty bread 
and fruit.
