SESAME CHICKEN STRIPS
.
We enjoy a dinner of "just appetizers" once in awhile, and these chicken
strips are always included on the menu, along with Mozzarella Cheese
Sticks and Potato Skins. What a fun, family meal to eat in front
of the TV...try it some night!
.
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp. dried minced onion
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 cup crushed butter-flavor crackers
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
SAUCE:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
.
1. In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup mayonnaise, onion and 1 tsp. mustard. In
another bowl, combine crackers and sesame seeds.
2. Cut chicken lengthwise into 1/4-inch strips. Dip strips into
mayonaise mixture, then into the cracker mixture. Place a single layer
on a large greased baking sheet. Bake at 425ยบ for 15 to 18 minutes or
until juices run clear.
3. Combine sauce ingredients and serve with chicken strips. Yield: 5 to
6 appetizer servings.
