BREAD BAKING TIP

To get that nice line across the top of bread loaves is to dip a 
rubber spatula or knife into oil and then push it into the bread 
about 1/2 in down before freezing or baking.  When you bake it, it 
will slowly separate there and be a bit lighter in 
the middle. It looks great and gives a finished look when used as a 
gift.
