GOLD PANNER'S RAISIN BARS

 

 

1 1/2 c. sugar

2 sticks butter

2 c. cold coffee

2 c. raisins

1 tsp. cloves

2 tsp. cinnamon

3 c. flour

1 tsp. soda

1/2 tsp. salt

1 egg

 

Combine sugar, butter, cold coffee, raisins, cloves and cinnamon. Cook until 
the mixture boils, stirring often. Cool, then add remaining ingredients. Bake

at 350 degrees inn a 9 by 13 inch lightly greased pan for approximately 45 
minutes. Frost with powdered sugar frosting.
