QUICK FRUIT PIE
1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick margarine or butter,
melted
1 (20 oz.) can crushed
pineapple (packed in own
juice)
1 c. pecans, chopped
(optional)
1 can cherry pie filling (or
any fruit will do)
9 x 13 x 2-inch cake pan

Spread pineapple over the bottom of the pan then spread
the cherries on top of the pineapple, put on a low burning fire
to heat while you are preparing the cake mix. Mix nuts with
cake mix and spread over the fruit; drizzle the melted butter
over the cake mix. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, turn the oven
down to 350 degrees and bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until browned.
Can be served with whipped cream or ice cream.
