BRUNSWICK STEW - VIRGINIA STYLE 

1 chicken
3 carrots, cut into bite sized pieces
4 potatoes, cut into bite sized pieces
1 lg. onion, cut into bite sized pieces
2 chicken bouillon cubes
2 or 3 qts. water
Salt and pepper to taste
2 lg. cans green lima beans


Simmer chicken in large pot in salted water about 2 hours or 
until meat falls from bones. Remove chicken from broth, reserving 
broth. Remove meat from bones; discard skin; and cut into bite 
sized pieces. Combine chicken, reserved broth, carrots, potatoes, 
onion and bouillon cubes in pot. Simmer until vegetables are 
tender. Add lima beans and simmer until thick.
