In trying to make garlicbread I was using garlic powder. I was at a
friend's house and she said that garlic powder would not work unless you
added a little salt. Therefore she buys garlic salt to make garlic

OVEN STEW
1 lb. stew meat or roast, cubed
3 tbsp. tapioca
2 stalks celery, sliced
4 carrots, sliced
4 med. potatoes, cubed
4 onions, quartered
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
Layer as listed in deep baking dish.
Cover & bake at 250 degrees
for 4 to 5 hours. Stir well before serving.
