Stuffed Pepper Soup

 

2 pounds ground beef

1/2 onion, chopped

2 28-ounce cans tomato sauce

1 28-ounce can diced tomatoes, undrained

2 cups cooked rice

2 cups chopped green peppers

2 beef bouillon cubes

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 28-ounce can water

(more or less as desired)

 

Brown hamburger and onion; drain. Add to rest of ingredients in

soup kettle. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer

until peppers are tender, 35-45 minutes.
