Nectarine Cookie Crisp desserts POINTS(r) Value: 4 Servings: 10 Preparation Time: 10 min Cooking Time: 50 min Level of Difficulty: Easy Sliced nectarines are baked to perfection beneath an amaretti cookie topping. The only thing that would make this dessert better is a scoop of light vanilla ice cream. Ingredients 7 medium nectarine(s), thinly sliced (about 8 to 10 slices per nectarine) 1 fl oz liqueur, any type, almond flavor suggested 7 amaretti cookie(s), processed into fine crumbs 5 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted Instructions Preheat oven to 375ºF. Place nectarines in an ungreased round baking dish; toss with liqueur. Spread nectarines into an even layer and top with cookie crumbs; drizzle melted butter over top. Bake until fruit bubbles, about 45 to 50 minutes. Allow to cool; serve either warm or cold. Yields 1 slice per serving. Notes You can use any stone fruit in this dessert: Peaches, apricots, plucots and plums all work well. You can use light butter in this recipe but we like the taste of regular butter better and decided that for 1 1/2 teaspoons of butter per serving, it*s worth using the real thing. __._,_.___
