Joe Nichols, Travis Tritt Offer New CDs

Joe Nichols and Travis Tritt are among the country artists releasing new albums 
on Tuesday (Aug. 21). Nichols' Real Things (Universal South) includes his
latest single, "Another Side of You." Tritt's The Storm (Category 5) was 
produced by American Idol's Randy Jackson and begins with "You Never Take Me 
Dancing,"
written by Richard Marx. Other country releases include Crystal Gayle's 
Greatest Hits (Capitol Nashville/EMI Music Catalog Marketing), which includes 16
of her No. 1 hits.

Little Big Town Offering Free Download

Little Big Town will provide free downloads of its new single, "I'm With the 
Band," for a 24-hour period beginning Friday (Aug. 24) at 12 a.m. ET at its

It's the first single from the quartet's second album for the Equity Music 
Group. "We wanted to give our fans the new single for free as a gift," said
band
member Phillip Sweet. "It's a way to say thanks and a way to share a piece of 
the new record we have been working so hard on all year. We are excited about
'I'm With the Band' and are glad to give it away to all our friends." Little 
Big Town's new CD, as yet untitled, will be released in November.

CMA Awards Tickets Go on Sale Aug. 30

Tickets for the 2007 CMA Awards show go on sale to the public at 11 a.m. ET on 
Aug. 30, the same day the nominations are announced in New York and Nashville.
Ticket prices begin at $164 (excluding service and handling fees) and increase 
depending on seating level. Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster.
This year's show takes place Nov. 7 at the Sommet Center, an arena in downtown 
Nashville. Sara Evans will announce select nominations live on ABC's Good
Morning America before Taylor Swift and Montgomery Gentry join CMT hosts Lance 
Smith and Katie Cook to announce the remaining nominees during a special
edition of CMT Insider.

Brad Paisley Will Headline CRS Music City Jam

Brad Paisley will host and headline the Music City Jam during the Country Radio 
Seminar in Nashville on March 5. Paisley was scheduled to perform at the
industry event last year but had to cancel because of the impending birth of 
his son. The Country Radio Seminar will take place March 5-7 at the Nashville
Convention Center. Paisley released his newest CD, 5th Gear, in June. His 
current tour is scheduled through early December.

McCoury Family Releases Children's Bluegrass CD

Ronnie McCoury and the Del McCoury Band released their first children's 
bluegrass album, Little Mo' McCoury on Tuesday (Aug. 21) on McCoury Music. While
the family wrote many of the tracks, other selections include Earl Scruggs' 
"Mama's Blues," Randy Newman's "You've Got a Friend in Me," Bob Dylan's "God
Gave Names to All the Animals," Woody Guthrie's "This Land Is Your Land" and 
Mac Wiseman's "Jimmy Brown, the Newsboy."
