CHICKEN BAKED IN SOUR CREAM

2 1/2 - 3 lb. fryer chicken, cut up
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. cooking fat, butter
1 c. sour cream
3 tbsp. Lipton onion soup mix
1/2 c. milk

Coat chicken with flour, salt and pepper mixture. Brown in fat in heavy 
skillet. In saucepan, combine soup mix and sour cream. Stir in milk and beat 
with
rotary beater. Heat, do not boil. Place browned chicken in casserole, pour in 
sauce, cover, bake in moderate oven at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes.  Enjoy.
