Gosh, this reminds me of those first days when Korema and I were
learning to work together as a team. Thankfully when I went into
class, it was in May, so temps were reasonable. Anyway, there were
times when my instructor would pair us up with another team--usually
it was with this young man and his lovely Golden Retriever, Oliver.
Whenever she was given the opportunity, Korema would zip ahead of
Ollie and his person, tail wagging furiously. This earned her the
nickname "little racehorse".
Yipes! I can sympathize with being in the heat, especially if it's
humid, too. In Concord, it's scorching hot, but at least, it's dry
heat. I've been feeling so bad for my poor little doggy as of late.
I'm sure she'd love to take a vacation from her coat if she could.
