Baked Meat Balls and Zucchini

1 lb. Ground Round
1 large celery stalk, finely minced
1 small onion, minced
1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
2 tbsp parsley flakes
1/4 c. milk
1/4 tsp pepper
1 large egg
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt to taste
1 tbsp olive or salad oil
4 small zucchini cut into bite-size chunks
1 clove garlic, minced
1 16-oz. can tomato puree
1 tsp dry basel leaves
1/2 tsp sugar

        Mix meat with ingredients up to zucchini. Roll into 20 meat balls and
place in 9 x 13 baking dish an inch apart. Bake at dg400 25 minutes.

        Meanwhile in skillet heat oil, cook zucchini and garlic until brown,
about 5 minutes.  Remove from heat, add tomato puree, basel and 1/2
teaspoon salt. Pour over meat balls and bake 15 minutes longer.
        Serve with buttered noodles sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
