OO-La-La Outdoor Trout

1 teaspoon oil

1 cup brown rice

1/4 teaspoon dried thyme

1/4 teaspoon paprika

3/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/3 cup dried minced onion

1/2 teaspoon celery seed

2 cubes bouillon

2 cups water

1 pound of trout or other fresh fish

1/2 cup dried tomatoes, rehydrated

Before you go combine the rice, celery seed, onion,

garlic, paprika, and thyme in a Ziploc bag with

your campsite instructions.

Catch and fillet a fish, I like trout best. Heat oil in a

skillet and then add the rice and other ingredients

you prepared at home. Cook for 3 or 4 minutes, stirring

all the time. Add the bouillon and water and

bring it to a boil. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes.

Add the fish and simmer for 8 more minutes, then

add the tomatoes and simmer for a final 2 minutes.
