Veggie Beef Burgers

1 med. green pepper, finely chopped
1 med. onion, finely chopped
1 celery rib, finely chopped
1 med. carrot, finely chopped
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 T. liquid smoke (opt.)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 lbs. lean ground beef
8 hamburger buns, split
lettuce leaves
sliced onion
tomatoes
pickles

In bowl combine first 5 ingredients. Add liquid
smoke, salt and pepper and beef and mix well.
Shape into 8 patties. Cook until done. Serve on
buns with lettuce, onion, tomatoes and pickles.
Makes 8 servings.
