Randy Travis Plans New Christmas CD

Randy Travis will release his second Christmas album, Songs of the Season, on 
Sept. 25 on Word Records. It's his first Christmas album since An Old Time
Christmas in 1989. Selections include "Away in a Manger," "O Holy Night," "Have 
Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "Angels We Have Heard on High" and
"Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow." Travis will also release two singles 
from the album, "Labor of Love" and "Nothin's Gonna Bring Me Down at Christmas
Time."

Elvis Presley Saluted on ABC Special

Elvis Presley will be honored by a number of pop and country singers on Sept. 
18 during the ABC news special, Elvis, Viva Las Vegas. The special includes
performances of Presley's hits by Faith Hill, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert and 
Willie Nelson, as well as Aerosmith's Joe Perry, Beyonc?, Brandi Carlile,
Daughtry, Celine Dion, 50 Cent, Chris Isaak, Paul McCartney, Patty Scialfa and 
Three 6 Mafia. Commemorating the 30th anniversary of his death, the two-hour
special will examine how Presley's career affected Las Vegas.

Louvin Brothers' Albums Now Digital

Nine albums by Charlie and Ira Louvin were released digitally by Capitol 
Records on Tuesday (Sept. 11). Titles include the Louvin Brothers' Keep Your 
Eyes
on Jesus, The Family Who Prays, Country Love Ballads, Louvin Brothers Encore, 
Weapon of Prayer and Thank God for My Christian Home. Also released are Charlie
Louvin's Less and Less and I Don't Love You Anymore and Hey Daddy and Ira 
Louvin's one solo album, Unforgettable Ira Louvin. Known for their tight vocal
harmonies and for performing both secular and spiritual material, the Louvin 
Brothers were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2001. Ira Louvin
was killed in a car accident in 1965. Charlie Louvin released a well-received 
solo album earlier this year featuring guest appearances by Elvis Costello,
George Jones, Wilco's Jeff Tweedy and others.
