Chicago Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 c  Butter or margarine
1 c  Sugar
1 c  Brown sugar
1    Egg
1 tb Milk
2 ts Vanilla
3 1/2 c  Flour
1 ts Salt
3 ts Baking powder
1 c  Oil
1 c  Quick oats
1 c  Corn flakes
12 oz Chocolate chips

Cream butter with sugars. Add egg, milk and vanilla.
Combine flour, salt and baking powder. Add these dry
ingredients alternately with oil to the first mixture. Add
oats, corn flakes and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonful
onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees 10 to 13
minutes. Makes 7 dozen.
