ANDE'S CANDY COOKIES

2 (36 count) boxes Ande's Mints
3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. water

Melt in microwave for 1 minute in glass mixing bowl.

Add 2 cups chocolate chips to above mixture. Microwave for 1/2 minute. Mix and 
cool 10 minutes. Add 2 eggs, 2 1/2 cups flour, 1 1/4 teaspoons soda, 1/2
teaspoon salt. Beat with mixer. Batter will be thin. Chill for 1 hour.

Grease and flour cookie sheets. Roll dough into 1" balls. Bake at 350 degrees 
for 9 minutes. Cookies will still be puffy. Place an Ande's candy on top while
cookies are still on sheet. Let set until starts to melt then swirl candy with 
a knife (like frosting). Remove from cookie sheet and let cool. (I only
use 1 box of candy and break them in half.)  Enjoy.
