TRAVELING CAKE

3 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. water
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. apples, pared and grated
1 c. chopped nuts
3/4 c. chocolate chips
3/4 c. raisins (optional)

Cream together eggs, sugar, butter and water. Sift flour with cocoa, soda, 
spice and salt. Mix well into creamed mixture. Fold in apples, nuts, chocolate
chips, raisins and vanilla.

Bake in greased and floured bundt pan, 325 degrees, 60 to 70 minutes, or until 
tester comes out clean. Cool for 15 minutes in pan, then turn onto rack to
cool. When completely cool, sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.  Enjoy.
