FANCY FRUIT PIZZA 1 recipe sugar cookies or 1 pkg. frozen sugar cookie dough 1/2 c. pecans 1 (4 1/2 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 sm. container Cool Whip Fresh fruit: strawberries, bananas, peaches, white seedless grapes, kiwi, pineapple chunks, orange slices
SAUCE: 1/2 c. orange juice 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. water Place cookie dough in pizza pan and flatten out. Bake as directed. Let cool. Mix cream cheese and Cool Whip; layer on top of cooled cookie crust. Decorate top with assortment of fruit placed in concentric circles. Cook sauce until thick. Let cool, then pour over fruit to keep it fresh (make sure to cover each piece of fruit with it).
