Apple Crumb Pie

5 to 7 tart apples or 2 #2 cans or 5 cups of sliced pie apples drained
1 9 inch unbaked pastry shell
1/2 c sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c sugar
3/4 c inriched flour
1/3 c butter

Peel apples and cut into eighths.
Arrange the apples in the unbaked pastry shell.
Mix 1/2 c sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle it over the apples.
Mix 1/2 c of the sugar with the flour and cut in the butter until crumbly.
Sprinkle crumbs over apples.
Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes
Cool and spoon whipped cream on top and sprinkle it with cinnamon sugar.
