CUT-OUT CHRISTMAS COOKIES

            3 cups flour  2 Tbsp. milk
            1 3/4 cup sugar  1 tsp. vanilla
            1/2 tsp. bking pwdr.  2 egg whites
            1 tsp. salt
            1 cup butter


        Mix the first 5 ingredients (left column) with a pastry blender.
You can store this mixture for up to a month in the refrigerator or freeze
it.  Add the last 3 ingredients and blend well. You can add food coloring to
the dough if you wish. Refrigerate for an hour, or until firm.  Roll out on
a well floured surface, and cut to shape with cookie cutters. Sprinkle with
sugar, or colored sugars before baking. Bake on cookie sheets at 350F. for
11 min. Makes 3 1/2-4 doz. cookies.
