Congratulations, good to hear from a real cook in the group!!
I had turkey, stuffing, mashed turnips, cranberry sauce and candied yams.
Now for leftovers, something you don't have unless you cook, Don

Hi Don,

As I live alone I do anything and everything for meals on Thanksgiving.

One year I made turkey breast. One year I did make an entire turkey
dinner--just for me--and it took all day.

One year I made Cavatine--a layered Italian dish with ground beef,
pepperoni, pasta, red sauce and cheese.

Whatever I decide to make that particular year is what I have. I do
usually make a good dessert and green bean casserole no matter what.

I have also accepted a Thanksgiving dinner delivered to me by a local
church. And gone to a church for dinner--two different churches.

And I have accepted invitations to join friends for Thanksgiving
dinner--that is what I am doing this year--going to the family of some
friends.

If I would have cooked, this year, I would have made chili.

Pretty nontraditional--but I get so little time to do some other
things that I don't always like to spend the free day entirely in the
kitchen.

Since I am eating out today, and going for the shopping marathon all
day tomorrow with my sister, the chili will wait until Saturday.
