Honeysnap Recipe
1 1/2 cups
2 cups
2 large
2 teaspoons
1/2 cup
4 cups
2 teaspoons
1 tablespoon
1/2 cupshortening
granulated sugar
eggs
vanilla
honey
all purpose flour
baking soda
cinnamon
granulated sugar
 
Oven Temp: 375°
Cooking Time: 10 to 12 minutes
Pan Type: cookie sheet
 
Preheat Oven.
In a large mixing bowl combine the shortening and first amount of sugar
beat until creamy.
Add the eggs, vanilla, honey, flour, baking soda and cinnamon and beat
until all dry ingredients are moistened.
Roll into balls about the size of a walnut.
Dip into second amount of sugar and place 2 inches apart on pan.
Bake until lightly browned.
Yields: 5 dozen
