CHINESE FRIED RICE

Fry lightly in two tablespoons of oil 1/2 cup of finely cooked, diced ham, 
chicken or pork .
Cook 1 quart of rice
Add some finely chopped onion to 1 quart of cold cooked rice.
Add to it 2 tablespoons of soy sauce.
Fry the rice mixture over low heat for 10 minutes and then add 1 well beaten 
egg.
Cook while stirring 5 minutes longer.
Add the meat and serve.
