White Chocolate Eggnog Sauce

 

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup refrigerated eggnog

1/2 cup whipping cream

1 1/2 tsp cornstarch

1/2 cup water

4 oz white chocolate bar

2 TBSP Brandy (Optional) I omitted this

 

Combine first 4 ingredients in heavy saucepan (I used

microwave), cook over low heat 5 minutes or until sugar

dissolves and butter melts, stirring occasionally, Combine

cornstarch and water, stir into eggnog mixture.  Bring to a

boil; boil one minute, stirring constantly.  Remove from heat,

add white chocolate (broke into pieces) stir until melted, stir

in brandy if desired.  Yields 2 1/2 cups.

Calorie and fat content:  AWWW COME ON - IT IS A CHRISTMAS

TREAT; you don't even want to do the math!!!
