9 Quick Winter Dinners                      Italian Sausage Saute:
In skillet cook 1 pkg 12oz cooked chicken sausage sliced, 1 tsp minced
garlic and 1 pkg frozen mixed peppers and onions in olive oil. Add 1 can
diced tomatoes with Italian seasoning. Serve over cooked polenta.

Chicken in Wine Sauce: In skillet cook 4 chicken breast fillets, 1 clove
garlic and 1 pkg 10 oz sliced mushrooms 4 mins. Stir in 1 cup halved
grapes and 1/2 cup wine. Add black pepper if desired. Cook 3 mins. Serve
over wild rice.

Greek Style Spaghetti: In skillet cook 1 chopped onion in olive oil. Add
2 tomatoes chopped, 1 can artichoke hearts quartered and 1/4 cup sliced
kalamata olives. Cook 4 mins. Spoon over cooked pasta. Add 1/2 cup herb
flavored feta cheese.

Tasty Tofu Noodles: In pot cook 4 cups chicken broth, 1 pkg 1 lb frozen
asian vegetables, 1 tsp minced garlic and 1 Tbs each red chili sauce and
fish sauce 5 mins. Add 1 pkg diced firm tofu and cilantro. Cook 1 min.
Pour over rice noodles.

Spicy Thai Mussels: In pot cook garlic in olive oil 1 min. Stir in 1 can
13.5 oz coconut milk, 1 Tbs green thai curry paste and 2 pounds mussels.
Cover and cook 6 mins or until mussels open. Add 1 Tbs cilantro. Serve
over cooked rice noodles.

Pesto Shrimp Toss: In skillet over medium high heat cook 1/2 pound
shrimp in lightly salted butter and olive oil. Store in 1 cup halved
cherry tomatoes and cook 1 min. Stir in prepared pesto and cook 1 min,
Serve over instant rice,

Asian Steak Salad: Season 1 skirt steak with thai spice seasoning. Broil
8 mins. Turn once and slice, Place torn lettuce on plate. Top with steak
sliced cucumbers carrots and scallions. Top with prepared dressing and
chopped peanuts.

Tortilla Corn Soup: In saucepot bring 4 cups chicken broth, 1/2 cup
prepared salsa, 1 can corn drained and 1/2 pound medium shrimp peeled
and deveined to a book. Cook 5 mins. Add chopped cilantro. Top with
crushed corn chips.

Kielbasa and Pierogies: In skillet cook 2 cups rinsed and drained
sauerkraut, 1 cup onion and 1 pkg mini pierogies 5 mins. Add 8 ozs
cooked kielbasa halved and sliced. Cover and reduce heat. Cook 10 mins,
