1/2 cup hot water

1 stick butter, cut up

1 tsp of each: almond extract, rum extract, vanilla extract,

Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease and flour a 10 cup or 12

cup Bundt pan, set aside.

Place the cake mix, pudding mix, melted butter , eggs, milk and

vanilla in a lrge mixing bowl. Blend with an electric mixer on

low speed for 1 min. Stop the machine and scrape down the sides

of the bowl. Increase the mixer speed to medium and beat 3

minutes more. The batter should look well combined and

thickened. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing it

out with a spatula. Place the pan in the oven.

Bake until it is is golden brown, about 55-60 minutes.

Butter Glaze: Place the sugar, hot water, and butter ina small

saucepan. Cook over medium heat until until the butter melts

and the sugar dissolves, stirring constantly. Remove the pan

from the heat and stir in the extracts.

Poke holes in the cake with a toothpick or skewer. Slowly pour

the warm butter glaze over the warm cake, allowing the glaze to

soak in. Allow the cake to cool to room temperature before

serving.

Note: this 5 flavor pound cake is moister and has a richer

flavor than the traditional version of this recipe.;)
